Nadal has been suffering from a chronic foot injury which almost forced him to skip Wimbledon. However, the prayers from tennis fans all over the world have worked wonders as the 22-time Grand Slam champion aims to win his third Wimbledon title.

Nadal and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov had a practice match recently. The 36-year-old Nadal has a 14-1 lead over Dimitrov as far as head-to-head is concerned. According to Manuel Sanchez Gomez, the two players played a set and a half. Dimitrov took the first set 6-3 and led the second set 2-1. Gomez wrote on Twitter that Dimitrov was excellent with his serves but Nadal did not have such a good outing. The former world No. 1 had many double faults as well. Nadal fans do not need to read too much into this scorecard as big players know when to give their best.
