Holger Rune recently reacted to a Christmas wish from a fan on Instagram DM.

Having ended the season with a bang, Holger Rune will certainly have a lot of people looking at his performances in the 2023 season with keen interest. After Carlos Alcaraz’s tremendous win in Flushing Meadows in 2022, Rune might be the next youngster to announce himself at the Grand Slams once the new season gets underway.

Rune has already showcased his talent on the ATP circuit. In 2022, the Danish star won three titles and two of them came toward the closing stages of the season. The current world No. 11 reached the finals in the last four tournaments he played on the tour. He won the Stockholm Open and Paris Masters by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas and Novak Djokovic in the finals, respectively. At the Sofia Open and the Basel Open, he finished runner-up.

The fan advised Rune to shut out all the trollers with his game and in a follow-up message, wished the player and his family Merry Christmas. Rune reacted with “love” to both messages. The fan was quite ecstatic after receiving a reaction from his favorite player and he shared a screenshot of the same on social media.
