The legendary player is also quite active on social media. She has often been seen interacting with her fans on Twitter. Canadian music correspondent and blogger Eric Alper recently posted a tweet asking people to name a celebrity with no haters. Evert replied to the tweet by writing the name of 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer and ended with a question mark.

Federer had some great rivalries with Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray to name a few. All these players have huge fanbases. However, Federer has not received much hatred from them. The Swiss legend is one of the most respected tennis players in the world. Not only his stupendous achievements on the tennis court but also his calm demeanor have won the hearts of potential haters.

Chris Evert congratulated Federer in a video posted by the official Twitter account of the ATP Tour and revealed that the Swiss sensation was her favorite player. Evert also said that Federer is the only player for who she cries when he loses.

She said, “I just want you to know that I appreciate how nice you were to my boys in the early years when you always came out of the locker room to say hi to them. And I just want you to know, that along with the beauty of your game, you, what impressed me the most was, you were such a great sport both on and off the court.”

Evert went on to add, “Win or lose, you were just so gracious and a gentleman, but you know you are my favorite player, you’ve always been my favorite player and you know you’re the only player that I cry when you lose.”

She ended the video by saying, “So those two things are important to me, and anyway, good luck to you and be happy.”
