Tears of Themis is a new romance detective game released by Mihoyo. It was released for ios and android on July 29. Mihoyo is famous for its Gacha Games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. Genshin Impact has brought console level graphics and a unique story to a free game. It generated $100 million in the first two weeks and $400 million in the first two months. Fans are excited about the new romance detective game from this studio.
Plot
The player starts as a rookie attorney who investigates crimes in the city of Stellis. The story gets darker and darker as we realise that the crimes that seemed disconnected are slowly linking together. The players will have to find the person behind all these crimes whose sole objective is to destroy the social order and all the good things in the world.
Gameplay
Currently, the game only has audio in Chinese, Japanese and Korean that gives it an anime style visual novel look. The players will have to search the crime scene and collect relevant evidence. The key evidence at the crime scene will reveal the story and the person behind everything. You will have to acquire and compare testimonies from various suspects. The players will have to analyze the testimonies to find contradicting facts. Finally, you will defeat your opponent in the court of law with all the evidence that you have collected.
Gacha System
It won’t be a mihoyo game without a Gacha system. The players will have to obtain different characters in the game via a gacha system. The game has four male protagonists at the time of launch. Tears of Themis is offering 40 free rolls at the time of the launch. The players will get 10 free draws for crossing the 500,000 pre-registration mark. There are 10 free draws for completing the support tasks at the beginning of the game. The game is offering 10 draws as login rewards. And finally, the players will get 10 free draws for completing the main story.
