Each area in the game contains thirty blue coins and after Mario successfully cleans up Delfino Plaza from the sludge, he can enter a shop and exchange them for Shine Sprites with the store’s raccoon proprietor. It is worth noting that this raccoon shopkeeper may be a reference to a popular similar character. Regardless, the ability to trade these coins in for Shine Sprites is a greatly appreciated feature.
Delfino Airstrip
After completing the final level, players will have access to the Delfino Airstrip, which is the starting point of the game.
