Predicted Manchester United XI to face Everton in the Premier League
Manchester United were out totally outplayed by Juventus in the 1-0 loss at Old Trafford earlier in the week and the Red Devils will face another tough test when they play host to Everton on Sunday.
United sit 10th in the Premier League standings, nine points behind table-toppers Manchester City and Jose Mourinho’s men will be under pressure to get their campaign back on track.
Meanwhile, Everton will be high on confidence after three consecutive wins over Fulham, Leicester City and Crystal Palace and Marco Silva’s men will be looking to make it four in a row when they face a struggling Manchester United on Sunday.
Team News
Jose Mourinho will have a number of injuries to contend with for Sunday’s clash. Jesse Lingard and Scott McTominay are likely to make their return but Alexis Sanchez, Diogo Dalot and Marouane Fellaini are not expected to make it to the matchday squad due to injuries. Antonio Valencia is yet to fully recover from his injury and might miss the game on Sunday.

David De Gea (GK)
Virtually an automatic selection for Mourinho. The Spaniard has always been a reliable presence between the sticks.
Ashley Young (RB)
Had a tough time against Hazard and Cristiano Ronaldo but United do not have many choices with Antonio Valencia and Diogo Dalot sidelined due to injuries.
Chris Smalling (CB)
He had an uncharacteristically poor outing against Juventus but has done a decent job in the other games.
Victor Lindelof (CB)
The Swedish international will be in high spirits after a solid and gritty performance against Juventus.
Luke Shaw (LB)
The Englishman found it difficult to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo and Dybala in the Champions League but has been a consistent performer in the Premier League.
Paul Pogba (RCM)
He did not have a particularly good outing in the Champions League but is likely to play an important role on Sunday.
Nemanja Matic (LCM)
He has done a decent job as a shield for the rearguard and has been quite tidy with his passing.
Juan Mata (CAM)
Had a couple of good games against Newcastle and Chelsea but did not get enough space in the midfield to make an impact in the Champions League tie.
Anthony Martial (LW)
Although he had a forgetful outing against Juventus, Mourinho needs him to continue his good run of form in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford (RW)
He hasn’t been in great form in the recent games but Mourinho might be hesitant to start with Jesse Lingard, who is returning from an injury.
