United States Champion AJ Styles vs NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong vs Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was one incredible match at Survivor Series 2019.

NXT stood tall by the end of Survivor Series securing four wins in comparison to SmackDown (two wins) and Raw (one win).

Most of the performers of the black and yellow brand shone brightly on this main-roster show, to make their daddy, Triple H, proud.

One of such wins came courtesy of Strong who outlasted two of the other mid-card champions of Raw and SmackDown in a triple threat.

He was the one to earn the pinfall win over Nakamura using cunning tactics.

However, it failed to impress the Intercontinental Champion as he went on a rant on Twitter following Survivor Series.

In the above-given post, the King of Strong Style was clearly not happy to digest the pinfall loss and mentioned Roderick Strong to be the ‘just lucky’ to get away with the win. He predicted that the story with Strong will unfold soon through a future feud.

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura?

Nakamura also mentioned that he is yet to get over with the bitter feud against AJ Styles. It should be noted that these two even featured in one of the main events at WrestleMania 34.

They beat the hell out of each other, last night, too. Eventually, Styles turned out to be the reason why Nakamura had to suffer the loss against Strong.

But the IC Champ was confident that he was ‘standing tall in the ring’ and perhaps the ‘tallest’.

The three champs absolutely tore the house down which appeared to be a visual treat for the raucous Chicago crowd.

Styles and Nakamura were hammering away at each other at the finishing point of the matchup. Nakamura connected with a knee to the face followed by a Michinoku Driver on Styles who tried to counter with a Styles Clash.

Nakamura escaped the hold but Styles ended up delivering a Phenomenal Forearm on him. Roderick Strong came from the back and pushed AJ out of the ring to get the pinfall win on Nakamura.

Perhaps this appeared to be a cheap win for the Shinsuke Nakamura as he went on a rant on Twitter.

We’ll have to follow the WWE storylines in the upcoming days to see whether WWE book Nakamura against Strong in order to let him seek retribution.
