In Sea of Thieves update 2.10.3, the rate at which skeleton ships and megalodons appear through emergent encounters has been changed. The 2.10.3 Sea of Thieves update fixed a number of gameplay-related problems. For example, when crews dived for battles and resurfaced near another ship they would find items on their vessel unresponsive; this is no longer an issue. Shark encounters were occurring too frequently but have now been normalized.

There was a network traffic-related problem that caused water to be visually thrown from a bucket only once followed by being able throw it again – this has been fixed. Skeletons have been reminded about repairing their ships during combat in time of need among other fixes made to improve player’s experience while exploring the world of Sea of Thieves.
