Chelsea vs Arsenal Ratings: Chelsea Player Ratings + Fans’ Reaction

The long-awaited Europa League final ended with Chelsea beating Arsenal by a 4-1 scoreline to give Maurizio Sarri his first professional trophy. The Blues’ rampant 2nd half performance led by the brilliance of Eden Hazard was too much for the Arsenal defence to handle and despite creating a few chances here and there, they were quite wasteful in the final third.

Eden Hazard scores a brace while Olivier Giroud and Pedro got Chelsea’s other two goals on the night. Alex Iwobi scored a spectacular volley but to no real effect. The Chelsea defence stood strong against anything that the Gunners had in their arsenal and even managed to keep Mesut Ozil unusually quiet on the night as well.

Here are the Chelsea Player Ratings:

Kepa Arrizabalaga 8

The Spaniard made quite a few decent saves but couldn’t have done too much about an absolutely sensation Alex Iwobi strike.

Cesar Azpilicueta 9

The Chelsea skipper had his best performance of the season down the right flank as he seemed to block everything down that side.
