France Fights Back

The Olympic silver medalists were about to be eliminated when Gobert slammed a putback to force overtime.

Despite having the opportunity to win on their final possession, France was able to finish the task in overtime, winning 87-86.

With 20 points and 17 rebounds, Gobert took the lead and ensured that his country did not lose twice in the competition’s round of 16.
