WWE released their first inductees for the 2020 Hall of Fame and Randy Orton put forward one big name. Ken Shamrock might not have been in the WWE for long but was dubbed as‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’.

Fox asked which star should be the next to be selected and Orton wanted Shamrock to be included.

The 55-year-old was one of the first to move from the growing sport of MMA to WWE. The wrestling promotion was at its peak when Shamrock joined, and he had some crazy feuds too.

Shamrock rocks the WWE

The American was known for his intense MMA rivalry with Royce Gracie and Shamrock also was the first UFC Superfight champion.

Shamrock was believed to be the best MMA fighter and was the first MMA champion in Japan too.

The 55-year-old didn’t win the top titles during his time with the business. However, he did lift the Intercontinental title, tag title and was the 1998 King of the Ring too.

Shamrock made the ankle lock one of the most popular holds in WWE. Several current stars still use this as their finisher too, such as Kurt Angle and Shorty G.

The 55-year-old has some incredible bouts with the Undertaker too. The MMA champ left the company in 1999 with the storyline of Chris Jericho’s bodyguard injuring Shamrock.

Other titles and work

Shamrock also lifted the NWA World Heavyweight title during his time with Total Nonstop Action wrestling.

The 55-year-old has been married twice and has an adopted brother, Frank Shamrock too. The American has been part of several promotions in the past while he made a return to UFC after his WWE and wrestling career too.

Shamrock now has started his own bare-knuckle boxing promotion called Valor, and the first even was held in North Dakota in September.

The former WWE star still tweets regarding the business, and it will be interesting to see if he is allowed to enter the 2020 Hall of Fame or future ones too.

His title with TNA/NWA career might be a problem, but hopefully, Shamrock gets in sooner rather than later.

He still wrestles on Impact and seems to be in decent shape.
