One of the best battle royale games out there is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. PUBG continues to be an exciting game that brings competitiveness to its players. The long-anticipated addition of a proper ranked mode increased PUBG’s competitiveness as players attempted to climb the ranks and secure a tasty chicken dinner. PUBG’s ranked mode, which replaced the old Survival Title system, puts the game on par with other online games in terms of competitive edge.

It is much more rewarding to climb through the ranks rather than just playing public matches. However, the PUBG rank system can be difficult to understand for some players. In some cases, it leaves the player uncertain of how he or she can achieve a higher rank, or why the rank is what it is. If you want to know everything about the PUBG ranks then read till the end.

How do PUBG ranks work?

There is a soft reset to PUBG’s rank system every time a new season begins. You will have the opportunity to play 10 different games at the beginning of the season to help you place higher in ranked mode. The results of these games will determine where you will begin the season.

Bots are not used in PUBG’s ranked mode. Bots have been included in the game, however, they are only present in normal matches. In PUBG, the possibility is that your ranks are too far apart if you’re having trouble finding a match as a premade. According to ranking rules, players cannot be ranked more than 10 divisions apart from one another.

PUBG ranks order

  • Bronze: Less than 1500 Points are Needed.
  • Silver: Around 1500-1999 Points Needed.
  • Gold: Around 2000-2500 Points Needed.
  • Platinum: Around 2500-2999 Points Needed.
  • Diamond: Around 3000-3499 Points Needed.
  • Master: 3500+ Points Needed.
  • Grandmaster: Top 500 Players on the ranked Ladder go to Grandmaster.

A rank is divided into five divisions, going up in descending order from 5 to 1. The ranked system has fewer points between ranks than other games because you can lose points as easily as you can gain them. As soon as you achieve the point mark, you will advance to the next rank’s division 5.

Because of this, increasing them gradually becomes more difficult, and even when only 100 points are required to move through the ranks, progress is difficult. In lower ranks, a single chicken dinner can earn half a rank, but as your rank rises, points gained gradually decrease.

How to increase ranks in PUBG

  • The ranked modes are divided by the first person and third person or the number of players. Therefore, it is spread fairly thin. Playing one game mode lets you spend more time with the ranked system. You will increase your chances of rising up ranks significantly.
  • When you play 30 minutes of TDM each day, you’ll improve both your dueling skills and survival skills, which should ultimately increase your ranking.
  • Your score will increase a lot if you keep playing games and finishing in the top 10.
  • A squad or even playing solo in a squad-heavy game improves your chances of getting decent ranks in PUBG. Squad play allows players to play more in positions.
  • You can increase your rank pretty quickly by surviving in the game. Furthermore, you won’t get as many kills as you would if you got a lot of kills, but you won’t die as often. Placement points alone are enough to get you to a high Platinum rank easily. For everything above, you will also need a substantial number of kills.

Rewards

The rewards for the PUBG ranks change season to season. It can be anything but in general, you get the following as rewards:

  • Helmet Skin
  • Weapon Skin
  • Outfits
  • Emote
  • Parachute skin
  • RP reward

The Elite RP players get more expensive rewards for free. They basically get a better version of skins, outfits, and more.

Keep in mind

Achieving Ranked Points (RP) is the only way you can climb the PUBG ranks. The amount of RP you receive decreases with each level, but you can earn more RP by winning games, acquiring good scores, and killing enemies. Your rank will be lowered if you go below a specific RP threshold, and this applies to all divisions.
