Jadon Sancho

On 23rd July 2021, Manchester United announced the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. Sancho has always been a top target for EPL clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City. However, Man United has beaten its opponents to acquire the signature of the highly-rated right-winger.

In four seasons at Dortmund, Sancho registered 64 assists and scored 50 goals, an achievement that makes him a valuable addition to United’s squad. Also, find out why Manchester United might let Phil Jones leave on a free transfer.

Pierluigi Gollini

Tottenham announced the signing of goalkeeper, Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta on a permanent deal. Gollini comes to Spurs at a time when the Londoners have appointed former Wolvehamptom manager, Nuno, to help them fight for silverware in the 2021/22 season.

Pierluigi Gollini is only 26, a player who kicked off his football career in Verona and Manchester United before switching to the Italian side for a senior debut in Serie A.

The goalkeeper has also plied his trade in Aston Villa so having some premier league experience is a good starting point for the Italian.

Ibrahima Konate

Liverpool has secured the services of RB Leipzig defender, Ibrahima Konate. Konate is best known for his exceptional ball controls and aerial duels, something the Reds need going into the new season.

For Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, strengthening the backline is a priority before the 2021/22 season kicks off. Costly defensive errors condemned the 2019/2020 EPL title winners to third place and ten points below 2020/21 league winners, Manchester City.

Konate is only 22 years old but the French player has already shown glimpses of reaching the apex in his football career.

Ashley Young

Ashley Young will play for his boyhood club, Ashton Villa, in the 2021/22 season. Young has signed a 1-Year deal with Villa. After forcing a move to Inter Milan last season, the former Manchester United player helped the Italian giants clinch the Serie A title.

Young returns to England and specifically to Villa Park after a decorated career in top-flight football and 39 caps for his country.

Nuno Tavares

Nuno Tavares has joined Arsenal from Benfica Lisbon. The 21-year-old will be a valuable addition to Arsenal’s defence in the new season. Nuno Travares played mostly as a left-back for Benfica in the 25 appearances he made for the Portuguese club.

The player also made several appearances for Portugal’s Under 21 and joined Benfica Lisbon in the top flight from Benfica B in 2018.
