Predicted Everton XI to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League

The Everton revolution looks to be on its way and their next opponents are Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. The Toffees have won their last two games against Tottenham and West Brom. They tore apart West Brom last weekend.

Carlo Ancelotti is slowly beginning to show his impact with the new signings but must be wary of Palace, who put Manchester United to the sword in their last game.

Team News

The likes of Mason Holgate, Jarrad Branthwaite and Jean-Philippe Gbamin are also out with injuries. Other than that, the manager will however have most of his preferred players to call upon.

Probable Everton XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Jordan Pickford (GK)

The England shot stopper was quite helpless to prevent the two goals from going in and retains his place in goal.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

The veteran right-back returns after being rested in the mid-week game versus Fleetwood town.

Yerry Mina (CB)

Without Mason Holgate, Mina continues at centre-back. He would need to raise his game after his performance in the last game gifted West Brom their opening goal.

Michael Keane (CB)

Keane is enjoying some of his best football since joining the club. He got himself on the scoresheet too in the last game.

Lucas Digne (LB)

Digne is the best option at left-back that Ancelotti has and he continues to be a starter there.

Allan (DM)

It looks as if Allan needs some time to get the hang of English football. His foul allowed Pereira to score West Brom’s second goal. Other than that, it was a solid showing from the Brazilian.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (CM)

Much like Allan, Doucoure looks like he will need some games under Ancelotti to fully get used to the playing style.

Andre Gomes (CM)

Not the best of games for the Portuguese but he keeps his place for now. Bernard will be hot on his heels in case Gomes can’t produce better performances.

James Rodriguez (RW)

It almost felt like James could do no wrong. He has well and truly introduced himself to English football and with the form he is in, it would be a massive surprise if he was dropped.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (ST)

Hat-trick hero in the last game as well as scoring the winner versus Spurs, Calvert-Lewin is in the form of his life. Expect to see more goals from the English striker.

Richarlison (LW)

With so much going on, Richarlison’s contributions have gone a bit under the radar. He is a constant threat in the attack and will continue to do the same.
