Predicted Arsenal XI to face Brighton in the Premier League

Another Premier League assignment awaits Arsenal as they visit Brighton for their last game of the year. The Gunners finally managed to get a win and that too in emphatic fashion against their rivals Chelsea.

Brighton are in dire form without even one win in their last five games. A difficult one to say given how Arsenal have only managed this one win after so long and were grovelling before this.

Team News

There will be a few players who are very likely to miss the trip to Brghton. Gabriel Magalhaes will have to self isolate after coming in contact with a COVID positive person. David Luiz and Willian are recovering from their illnesses. Lastly there’s Thomas Partey, who continues his recovery from injury.

Probable Arsenal XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Bernd Leno (GK)

Leno has played almost all of their games this season and is expected to continue here too.

Kieran Tierney (LB)

Has been solid in his position through the season and has adjusted well to any positional changes.

Pablo Mari (CB)

Mari keeps his place in the side in the absence of key central defenders.

Rob Holding (CB)

Holding has been a constant presence in the backline for the Gunners and is likely to continue.

Hector Bellerin (RB)

Perhaps one of his better showings in an Arsenal shirt and should be allowed to keep his place.

Dani Ceballos (DM)

With midfield options thin, Ceballos could well start this one out.

Granit Xhaka (DM)

Xhaka will continue in his place, with Partey still out and recovering.

Emile Smith Rowe (AM)

The youngster was one of the most effective midfielders for Arsenal against Chelsea. Should start this game too.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW)

The Arsenal captain still looks off-colour and could use some more goals to boost his confidence.

Alexandre Lacazette (ST)

Opened the scoring in the last game and should keep his place in the side.

Nicolas Pepe (RW)

Pepe could be brought back in for this game to provide some threat down the flanks.
