Upcoming R-Rated Comedy movie No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence gets a new release date for 2023 

Jennifer Lawrence’s new R-rated comedy movie titled No Hard Feelings officially has a theatrical exclusive release date set for next year.

The movie is being directed by Gene Stupnisky who recently did the mystery/adventure Good Boys. Stupnisky is co-writing the screenplay with John Phillips, the executive producer. 

Lawrence is the only actor related to the movie and she will also produce the film with Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, and Naomi Odenkirk. Sony Pictures acquired the rights to this film in October 2021. 

Plot details of the movie are currently being kept enclosed. Sony has mentioned that the movie will be an “ “R-rated comedy with heart,”. Deadline has reported that the movie will be a “raunchy” comedy similar to films like There’s Something About Mary and Bad Teacher. This movie has been set for a release date of June 16, 2023.

Jenifer Lawrence’s last movie Don’t Lookup was nominated for four Academy awards 

Lawrence’s last movie Don’t Look Up notched up some attention at the Academy Awards which also included The Best Picture. No Hard Feelings will be the first time that Lawrence will be heading into the world of a hard R-rated comedy. 

But since we all know that Lawrence is quite a diverse character it will be a nice addition to her filmography. Most comedy movies are usually rated as PG-13 it will be interesting to see how this turns out. Her role in the movie will become clearer in the coming months.
