Former WWE Champion Big E was at the Daytona 500 and had a great time

Big E might not have been in the battle for the top titles at Elimination Chamber but he sure had a great time on Sunday.

The New Day member was the honorary pace car driver for the Daytona 500. The Daytona 500 is one of the biggest car races in the world and is part of the Nascar Sprint Cup series.

Thousands were in attendance as Big E drove the pace car around, and well, you could say he was delighted at the opportunity.

E was surprised he was allowed to drive the pace car but it was all in jest. He also wanted people to watch the race, and himself being part of history.

The former champion also posed with the car and with a few top racers as well. E was more than happy to share the pictures, and this was a great tie-up between WWE and Nascar.

Who won the 2022 Daytona 500?

The Daytona 500 had three stages with the first stage being 65 laps. That was won by Martin Truex Jr. The second stage was also 65 loops and was won by the same racer. However, the final stage was longer and ran for 70 laps.

The winner of this stage was rookie Austin Cindric racing for Team Penske. He came in ahead of Bubba Wallace racing for team 23XI Racing.

Chase Briscoe completed the podium and he was racing for Stewart-Haas Racing.
