Ashley Thompson is best known for being the wife of former professional football quarterback Peyton Manning
Thompson met Peyton Manning in 1996 through her neighbour after which they started dating. Manning is one of the most legends in the NFL and is highly regarded as one of the greatest of all time. Peyton played in his college days for the University of Tennessee, while his then-girlfriend went off to the University of Virginia. The couple continued dating and got married in 2001.

She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, one of four children of Bill and Marsha Thompson. Her father is a banker and a realtor. Her mom is a housewife and took care of the four children – Allison, Will and Leigh.
Peyton Manning, meanwhile, was born in 1976 to Archie and Olivia Manning. He grew up heavily active in football, basketball, baseball, and track. His father was very supportive throughout his formative years.

Peyton Manning played 17 seasons for the Colts and Denver Broncos. He threw for 71,940 yards and 539 touchdowns. He was chosen to play in 14 Pro Bowls. His achievements include – 1 Comeback Player of the Year award, 2 Offensive Player of the Year awards, 5 MVP awards, the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award, 1 Super Bowl MVP award and 2 championships.
He retired from professional football in March 2016, with career accumulating of 71,940 passing yards and 539 touchdowns.
He is the son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and an elder brother of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
Manning had never missed an NFL game in his career, but was forced to miss the entire 2011 season due to two surgeries.
