Paige was participating in an interview for Inside Ropes and shared her thoughts on the WWE return of CM Punk

Former WWE Divas champion Paige was as shocked as everyone when CM Punk made his return to WWE.

The former wrestler came back as a guest on WWE Backstage, and that caught many with surprise.

Punk isn’t back wrestling for WWE but he makes regular appearances on the show.

Paige’s reaction to Punk returning was of complete shock, and she loved the comeback of the star:

“I love wrestling, so seeing him, seeing CM Punk comeback, it was just like this moment where I’m like, I felt like I reacted the way everyone reacted like ‘holy **** are you kidding me? I thought this day would never happen.’”

However, Paige dashed any hopes of seeing the former WWE champion back in the ring soon:

“That was awesome, but he wants to let everyone know obviously that he works on Fox and not the WWE.”

This could be a sign that he isn’t ready for a return to WWE action yet. Punk left the business a while back and tried his hand at several other ventures.

He has acted in movies while he also tried his hand in the MMA ring.

Paige enjoys her time on Backstage

The Fox show isn’t scripted too much and allows wrestlers to share their views and opinions.

Paige confirmed that she liked talking about stuff but admitted that Punk is more honest than she is on the show.

The former Divas champion added that having Punk on the show helped the ratings a lot too, and he was a great part of the current team as well.
