WWE NXT TakeOver is the finale of the TakeOver event for the revamped brand this year
In the last few months, many new potential superstars have made their way to the company. This NXT TakeOver is about watching that potential. Youngest NXT superstar Cora Jade will team up with former champions Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ra for the women’s war games match. They will take on Dakota Kai and Toxic Attraction.
Some of the other matches include the Hair vs Hair contest between Duke Hudson and Cameron Grimes. In addition, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, LA Knight, and Pete Dunne will partner for the first time to take on the newcomers Bron Breaker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo in the men’s WarGames contest.

- Harland might lash out at Diamond Mine
Joe Gacy will challenge Roderick Strong for his title. Gacy was likely to have Harland by his side, who has been an impressive in-ring performer. On the other hand, Strong will be relying on some help from The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile.
They must allow Harland to show up with Gacy and take on The Creed Brothers at ringside. He might attach strong, which can cost Joe the match via disqualification.
2. Imperium should retain the tag team championship at NXT TakeOver
Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner will team up to challenge current Tag Team Champions Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel, aka Imperium.
This will be Wagner’s first time challenging for the championships. NXT should allow them to retain the title as two men should have a better reign this time as the last championship reign was pretty ordinary.
3. Dakota Kai must pick up the win for her team
Raquel Gonzalez has defeated Dakota Kai each time they have faced each other. But this time, Kai has joined forces with Toxic Attraction in the tag team match against a team that includes Gonzalez.
They should allow Kai, the captain, to successfully pick up the final pin to win the match for her team.
This might allow her to climb the roster’s top and get into some title action.
4. Dexter Lumis might get back at Carmelo Hayes at WarGames 2021
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams injured Dexter Lumis some days before, which has kept Lumis out of the match of WarGames. However, this might change at TakeOver as Lumis layout Williams and enter the WarGames to go all out at Hayes.
Lumis’ action will allow Team Black & Gold to take advantage in the ring.
5. Bron Breakker should pin Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver
Bron Breakker performed in his first match on the revamped brand and straightaway broke into the championship picture. However, he failed to beat the current champion, Ciampa.
NXT should allow Breakker to dominate his opponent and make a statement. Then, they should let him finish the game with a win by hitting the finisher on The Blackheart.
The finish will allow Breakker to stamp his authority for the title.
It will be really fascinating to see who comes out on top at the end of Sunday night. The fans will be expecting some great action from the matches.
