According to Daily Mail, Cardiff City had made a £12 million bid for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen in January following the tragic helicopter incident over the English Channel involving club-record signing Emiliano Sala. However, the 22-year-old turned down a move keeping in mind the disturbing circumstances at Cardiff.

The same report claims that Norwich City are also keeping close tabs on the Englishman and the Canaries might make a move for the prolific winger at the end of the season.

Bowen has been in terrific form for the Tigers in the Championship this term, accumulating 19 goals and 3 assists.

Norwich are not the only club to have shown an interest in Bowen, with the youngster also being linked with a move to Premier League heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur prior to the January window. (h/t Sky Sports)

Norwich inched closer to securing an automatic promotion place with a 3-2 victory over Hull at home on Wednesday night, thanks to a brace from Emiliano Buendia.

The Canaries have really turned their fortunes around in the Championship this term under the charismatic guidance of Daniel Farke and few would bet against them making it back to the Premier League at this stage of the season.

Undoubtedly, the fans at Carrow Road have every reason to believe that their team have the character to keep their nerves and make a much-anticipated return to the big stage.

Teemu Pukki have been one of the driving forces behind Norwich’s surge for promotion, with the Finnish international bagging as many as 24 goals and 8 assists from 34 appearances.

He has been well supported by Emiliano Buendia on the right and Onel Hernández on the left. Both the players have racked up an impressive number of goals and assists playing in Farke’s 4-2-3-1 system while youngster Todd Cantwell has emerged as a breakout star for the Canaries.

Despite boasting of commendable firepower in their ranks, Norwich should look to add at least a couple of more quality attackers to their squad in the summer.

They need adequate depth in their squad to survive in the Premier League next season and someone like Jarrod Bowen would fit straight into Farke’s attacking philosophy.

Bowen has starred for Hull City down the right flank with his pace, dribbling skills and goal scoring prowess, which should tempt the Canaries to make a move for him in the summer.

Having scored 14 goals in the Championship last season and 19 so far this term, it would be fair to say that Bowen is a proven talent at the Championship level and his links with the Premier League clubs show that he is capable of thriving in the top flight as well.

Essentially a right-winger by trade, Bowen likes to use his magical left foot to cut inside from the flanks, either having a shot on goal or teeing it up for his teammates.

He likes to take on his opposite number and beat him with his sudden burst of pace and trickery on the ball, whilst also possessing the awareness to get into right positions to finish off moves.
