The NFL 2021 regular season which kicked off in the second week of September, is into week 3 – the picks, previews and predictions for GW3 are here.
Houston Texans vs Carolina Panthers
The Houston Texans are 1-1 in the NFL currently. They won their opening game convincingly and are coming off a 31-21 defeat against the Cleveland Browns.
Their opponents, the Carolina Panthers, are coming off back-to-back wins, 2-0. In the second week, they handed a thumping to the New Orleans Saints, 26-7.
Given the hot form, the Panthers are currently in, it will be tough handing them their first L.
Prediction: Carolina Panthers to beat Houston Texans
Kansas City Chiefs vs Los Angeles Chargers
The Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on the 26th of September. The Chiefs got off to a winning start, but were pegged back in the next, against the Baltimore Ravens – a narrow 36-35 loss.
The Chargers, meanwhile, are 1-1 in the 2021 season as well. However, the Chiefs might be having the edge, since it is in their own home.
Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs to beat Los Angeles Chargers
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Arizona Cardinals
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been struggling to find their form. Having lost their first two games, they will be hosting the Arizona Cardinals on the 26th of September.
The Cardinals, on the other hand, have been in red hot form. They started off with a smashing 38-13 win over the Tennessee Titans before edging out the Minnesota Vikings in the next.
Prediction: Arizona Cardinals to beat Jacksonville Jaguars
Cleveland Browns vs Chicago Bears
The Cleveland Browns have bounced back following a defeat in Gameweek 1. They are coming off a 31-21 win over the Houston Texans.
They will be playing host to the Chicago Bears, who are also 1-1 in the ongoing season. After being beaten by the Los Angeles Rams, the Bears beat the Cincinnati Bengals 20-17 in a close contest.
Prediction: Cleveland Browns to beat Chicago Bears
Buffalo Bils vs Washington Football Team
The Buffalo Bills will be brimming with confidence when they host the Washington Football Team on the 26th of September.
They are coming off an absolute demolition of the Miami Dolphins, 35-0. They had lost their opening game to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Washington Football Team went down to the Los Angeles Chargers in the first game but beat the struggling New York Giants in the second.
Prediction: Buffalo Bills to beat Washington Football Team
Tennessee Titans vs Indianapolis Colts
The Tennessee Titans bounced back with an OT win over the Seattle Seahawks following an opening day thrashing they received against the Arizona Cardinals.
They will be hosting the Indianapolis Colts who are yet to get their first win. The Colts have lost to the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.
The Colts might have a hard time beating the Titans in their own backyard.
Prediction: Tennessee Titans to beat Indianapolis Colts
New England Patriots vs New Orleans Saints
The New England Patriots are currently 1-1. They are coming off a 6-25 drubbing against the New York Jets.
Their opponents, New Orleans Saints will be looking forward to shrugging off their confidence-shattering defeat against the Carolina Panthers (26-7). But, they will not have it easy against the Patriots, since it will be an away day as well.
Prediction: New England Patriots to beat New Orleans Saints
New York Giants vs Atlanta Falcons
The New York Giants will be hoping to get off the mark following defeats against the Denver Broncos and the Washington Football Team.
They will be hosting the Atlanta Falcons who are yet to get a W as well. However, the Falcons might edge the New York Giants here.
Prediction: Atlanta Falcons to beat New York Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals
The Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-1 in the 2021 season as well. They got off to a winning start after beating the Buffalo Bills, but were defeated by the Las Vegas Raiders in the second game.
They will be hosting the Cincinnati Bengals who are coming off two hard-fought games. They won the first game against the Minnesota Vikings in a contest that went to overtime.
The Bengals weren’t lucky in the next game, going down fighting to the Chicago Bears, 17-20.
Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers to beat Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions vs Baltimore Ravens
The Detroit Lions have been struggling to find their form this season. They lost 33-41 against the San Francisco 49ers in the opening game, and were convincingly beaten by the Green Bay Packers in the next.
In their path stand the Baltimore Ravens who are 1-1 this year. The Ravens lost their first game through OT, against the Las Vegas Raiders, but bounced back with a close 36-35 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Lions might have a tough time beating the Ravens as well.
Prediction: Baltimore Ravens to beat Detroit Lions
Denver Broncos vs New York Jets
The Denver Broncos have been soaring in the 2021 NFL Season. After wins over New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars, they will be looking forward to keeping their winning momentum running when they host the struggling New York Jets.
The Jets have lost both their opening games. After losing to the Panthers, 19-14 in the first game, they were handed a hideout against the New England Patriots (6-25) in the second.
It will be hard for them to come off with a victory against the Broncos.
Prediction: Denver Broncos to beat New York Jets
Las Vegas Raiders vs Miami Dolphins
The Las Vegas Raiders are 2-0 up, after an OT win over the Baltimore Ravens and a convincing 17-26 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They will be hosting the Miami Dolphins who are down on confidence after receiving a 35-0 drubbing against the Buffalo Bills.
The Raiders might win this one quite easily
Prediction: Las Vegas Raiders to beat Miami Dolphins
Los Angeles Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The battle of the best performing teams this season will be an interesting one. Both Rams and Buccaneers have looked brilliant so far.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Cowboys in a close contest in the first game, 31-29. They then went on to beat the Falcons 48-25 in a high-scoring contest.
The Rams, on the other hand are coming off wins over the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts, with the second one being a close one.
Given that the match is at the SoFi stadium, the Rams might edge out the Buccaneers
Prediction: Los Angeles Rams to beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Minnesota Vikings vs Seattle Seahawks
The Minnesota Vikings will be hosting the Seattle Seahawks on the 26th of September. Coming off two extremely close defeats, the Vikings will be itching to get that W.
The Seahawks, on the other hand, beat the Indianapolis Colts in their first game, before losing to the Tennessee Titans in OT in the second game.
Prediction: Minnesota Vikings to beat Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers vs Green Bay Packers
The 49ers have been on a roll. They beat the Detroit Lions pretty convincingly, 33-41 in a high-scoring game.
They then defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 11-17 to keep their unbeaten record intact.
The Packers, meanwhile are 1-1 in the 2021 NFL Season. After suffering a brutal demolition against the New Orleans Saints, 38-3, they bounced back with a 35-17 win over the Detroit Lions. However, they will be finding it difficult to get past the 49ers.
Prediction: San Franciso 49ers to beat Green Bay Packers.
Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are 1-1 into the 2021 NFL Season. It is the hometeam Cowboys who currently have the momentum following a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Eagles won their first match against the Falcons but went down to the 49ers in the second.
Prediction: Dallas Cowboys to beat Philadelphia Eagles
