Alvin Kamara and a host of other stars are listed ‘Questionable’ for their Week 2 matchup against Tom Brady’s Buccaneers. Having posed such authority over the 7xSuper Bowl Champ and his team in the recent years, all eyes will be whether New Orleans Saints could once again hurt the same opposition, despite their brilliant start in the 2022-23 NFL Season.

Talking about Alvin Kamara, he was officially listed questionable due to ribs injury. The 27-year-old missed two consecutive days of practice which simply do not indicate positive signs for the Saints’ fan-base, ahead of their matchup on Sunday against Tampa Bay.

To make matter even worse for the New Orleans Saints, Alvin Kamra’s backups – Mark Ingram and Dwayne Washington are also listed questionable due to ankle and hamstring issues respectively. All of these spoken off players were not only limited all-week in practice, but also had issues beforehand upon their availability for the upcoming fixture. However, this leaves Tony Jones Jr as the only back on the Saints’ roster, not placed on the injury report.

Will Alvin Kamara-less Saints finally suffer a ‘L’ against Buccaneers?

Even with the odds being tough, many expect Alvin Kamara’s status for the matchup against Tampa Bay to be decided in the final moments. Which makes it interesting to how the opposition are also going to frame their strategies. Although fans would be aware that Alvin Kamara was eventually downgraded to a non-participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. He was present during the stretching bits of practice on Thursday but left afterwards and was not spotted at the open portion, the very next day.

Apart from Alvin Kamara, one other key personnel listed questionable for the Saints is Quarterback – Jameis Winston, due to a back injury he had sustained against the Falcons. However, Winston had also torn his ACL almost a year ago, confessed how he has ‘ready to rock’ against his former team.

Are these indications of Tom Brady’s sufferings against the Saints coming to an end? Or New Orleans will once again thump the star-studded Bucs?
