Things got ugly as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended their 4-game losing streak against the New Orleans Saints, and Mike Evans was at the helm of it. Safe to say, Evans wanted no one to talk ill or to have any opinions about Tom Brady.

So, what happened? The 7xSuper Bowl Champion complained to the officials about the lack of pass interference flag. This resulted in Saints’ Marshon Lattimore gesturing that the former should be flagged. Initially it was Leonard Fournette who came over to confront Lattimore. But in no time, Mike Evans decided to take matters in his own hand as he decked Marshon to the floor, resulting in a massive brawl.

To make matters worse, by the end of the brawl – fans could witness each and every player from both the teams trying to throw end on the opposition player. However, when the officials had to take a decision – Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore were kicked out for being the most culpable.

This isn’t the first time Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore have encountered one another with such hatred. Both these spoken off personnel are long-term rivals who have boiled over in the past, and this time it resulted in both of them being ejected. Safe to say, it is likely to result in significant fines for both players as well.

Lattimore wasn’t available for comment after the game, but he had made his feelings on Mike Evans crystal clear over the years. Given that the two are often matched up one-on-one, they’ve developed a dislike for one another that has more often than note, turned physical. Their first incident was in 2017, when Evans came running onto the field just to shove Lattimore in the back. After which the Saints’ marquee shoves Mike Evans in the back in 2020 and knock his helmet off in response.

Will this brawl result in mike Evans being suspended from Tampa Bay Buccaneers home opener? Remains to be seen.
