After losing their inaugural showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals needs to bring out their ‘A’ game in order to bounce back to the winning column. Ahead of their Week 2 showdown against the Dallas Cowboys, it seems like the team is awfully close in availing the services of receiver – Tee Higgins.

The 23-year-old youngster participated in the team’s practice on Wednesday in a limited capacity yet was unable to replicate the same on Thursday due to some personal issues as per Jay Morrison.

While the Bengals, Joe Burrow were a mess in their Week 1-showdown, Higgins had 2 catches for 27 yards before getting injured in the season opener. He was Cincinnati Bengals, second-leading receiver last season with 74 catches and 1,091 yards. Moreover, he registered similar numbers even in his rookie year as a second-round pick out of Clemson with 67 catches and 908 yards.

Can Tee Higgins inspire Bengals to demolish Cowboys in Week 2?

Bengals, as well as Cowboys have had miserable starts in the 2022-23 season. With both teams being reckoned as the favorites to win the Super Bowl LVII, Tee Higgins’ inclusion could be a huge boost for the former team. Given his catching ability, agility and speed, a Dak Prescott less-Cowboys could really be hampered in the latter stages of the game.

Apart from tee Higgins, majority of the eyes will be on Joe Burrow as well, he literally threw the game away for Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. With five turnovers from the superstar QB, there are no doubts that he needs to redeem himself in this showdown. Interestingly, Burrow turned the ball over just 14 times in 16 games, so will that particular encounter be an exception? Or is Joe Burrow going to get even more scrutinized? Remains to be seen.

That being said, with Prescott out, Cooper Rush will be replacing him as starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys. Will this be the headline of the game? Time will unravel all answers.
