While the team did not understand the seriousness of the injury and listed him ‘questionable’ in the initial stages. The detailed reports gave them a good idea of what Murray would be going through.

That being said, the initial tests on Kyler Murray’s injury indicate that he has torn his ACL. Though, he has an MRI to be done tomorrow to determine the severity of the issue. However, there’s a good chance we have seen the last of this Pro Bowl Quarterback in the current season.

Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury even noted that the injury does not look good, and this is to be taken seriously. He stressed upon how he has never seen a player like Kyler Murray in such a shape or pain.

“I’ve never seen (Murray) in that type of shape, so I assumed it wasn’t good,” Kingsbury told reporters after the Cardinals’ 27-13 loss to the Patriots, as per ClutchPoints.

That being said this 25-year-old Quarterback might’ve just suffered from the worst injury blow of his career – an ACL tear, which requires nine to twelve months of rehabilitation. In just this offseason, Murray had signed a five-year, $230.5 million contract extension that ties him to Arizona through 2028.
