A few top NFL and NBA stars got together for a golf session in Scottsdale, Arizona
Joe Burrow and Sam Hubbard got their offseason started later than usual as they made it to the Super Bowl with the Cincinnati Bengals last month. The Bengals suffered a narrow defeat against the LA Rams but Burrow and Hubbard seem to have gotten past their heartbreak.
Bengals QB Burrow and TE Hubbard were recently spotted on a golf course with a few other sports stars. Among the group was NBA star Devin Booker, who also suffered heartbreak in the NBA Finals when his Phoenix Suns side lost out to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Even San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa, Burrow and Hubbard’s former Ohio State teammate, was among the clan. The group of athletes looked at comfort as they posed for a photo together after what seemed like an enjoyable golf session in Scottsdale, Arizona.
NBA, NFL stars meet for golf session
Burrow, Hubbard, Bosa, and Booker probably talked about how they all played in conference championships last season and could have empathized with the feelings. Hubbard took to his Instagram to post the image of the athletes together.
Burrow and Hubbard were then spotted in another picture together as they seemed to have dinner with Bosa and former Ohio State offensive lineman Jamarco Jones. It appeared to be like a reunion of the four players who were all part of Ohio State.
However, some NFL fans were already sparking rumours that Bosa could join the Bengals soon. The group looked extremely content together.
Bosa’s contract with the 49ers expires in 2023. But even before the start of the 2022 free agency, eagle-eyed fans took to social media to state their opinions on Bosa’s potential trade to the Bengals. However, the Bengals may have to free up some funds on their roster if they are to lure the 49ers’ DE as Hubbard and Burrow are on lucrative deals.
