It has not come as a shock as this move was already expected. The Texans have made it clear that they want to move on from their last season’s most impressive player.

The Texans are waiting for an offer to trade Watson for the right price as he is till considered as one of the best 25 year olds. If there is no offer made till November 2nd we will most likely see Watson warming the bench this season.

Why do the Texans want to move on from him?

The reason that The Texans are looking to get rid of Watson involves both on and off pitch actions of the player. The on pitch reasons includes his recent demeanor for the team and trying to force a move away.

The off pitch reasons are much more serious as the 25 year old is facing sexual assault allegations. There are a total of 22 civil and 10 criminal complaints filed by women against him. As the investigation goes on it is very unlikely that we will see him play.

This has also forced the Texans to look to trade him as keeping him seems like a liability for the team at the moment and it can tarnish the team’s image. Watson has seemed to have shown a liking to move to the Miami Dolphins but the Texans want sell him for spare change and look to get a fair offer.
