The 70-year-old analyst claims that his source in the locker room has said that Lamar is less engaged during team meetings and seems “withdrawn” from the situation. In simpler terms, he does not seem like the Lamar Jackson of the past.
“Lamar Jackson is so upset over his contract that he’s effectively ‘holding out’ without holding out,” Bayless said. “Lamar is no longer as engaged or responsive during meetings.
