After the Green Bay Packers suffered a defeat in their Week 1 showdown against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S.Bank Stadium, cameras caught a beautiful interaction between Aaron Rodgers and Justin Jefferson.

However, it wasn’t only after the game. Aaron Rodgers even went onto repeat his words on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday. He said, “I told you what I told Justin after the game, I said he was the best player on the field, and I meant it, didn’t say it tongue in cheek. I’ve been a fan of his since I watched him in college. He’s a dynamic player who is an excellent route runner.”

It wasn’t only Aaron Rodgers who was impressed by the attacking prowess of Justin. The latter managed to catch nine passes for a career-high 184 yards and two scores. Not only that Jefferson also caught the game opening TouchDown pass to put his team up 7-0 against the Green Bay Packers. Moreover, Jefferson’s second TouchDown gave the Vikings a thumping 17-0 lead.

That being said, the four-time MVP – Aaron Rodgers admitted than the Packers ran out of option to stop the charismatic Justin Jefferson. Given the Vikings have got onto a great start in the 2022-23 season, will we witness a breakout year for the 23-year-old WR? On the other hand, will Rodgers be able to lead his Packers back to the win column in Week 2 as the Green Bay lock horns against Chicago Bears.
