Did Jalen Hurts play for Alabama? 2

As a quarterback in college football, Jalen Hurts had one of the most eventful and fascinating careers in the history of the sport. At Alabama, he entered the school as a freshman. As a junior, he was demoted to the bench. He participated in the College Football Playoff each of the past four years for Alabama and Oklahoma, which are two of the most successful college football programs in the country.

On September 3, 2016, Hurts played in his first college game as a reserve for Alabama. The game was a blowout against USC, and he finished with a total of 150 yards and four touchdowns. Hurts was the driving force behind Alabama’s 14-1 record and led the go-ahead touchdown drive in the CFP championship game, but Clemson’s Deshaun Watson stole the show in Alabama’s 35-31 loss to Clemson in the game.

As a freshman, Hurts ended with a total of 2,780 passing yards, 954 running yards, and 36 touchdowns through the air and on the ground. Although he was a sophomore when the season began, Tua Tagovailoa was only a freshman when he arrived in Tuscaloosa, but he was already the starting quarterback.

After that, Hurts signed with the joined of Oklahoma and played for them until he was drafted by the Eagles of Philadelphia. He will be playing in his first Super Bowl in two weeks and is ready to get a massive contract extension from the Eagles.
