Jalen Hurts is playing exceptionally well this season and is an MVP candidate. The Philadelphia Eagles are the 1st seed in the NFC and have the best record in the entire NFL.

In Week 13, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles destroyed the Tennessee Titans, while Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Cincinnati Bengals. As a result, many believe that Hurts has gained an advantage over Mahomes in the MVP race, and Eagles DB Darius Slay also believes the same.

Darius Slay said, “I’ve been saying it for weeks now. Weeks, and I’ve been telling y’all since the beginning of the season that he was gonna be that guy. My boy, Jalen Hurts, Mr. 1 himself. Now, it’s been going around that, you know, Patty Mahomes to win MVP, and Jalen, you know 1a, 1b, right now.”

He added, “But I’m here to be Jalen, his lawyer, his attorney, big place Slay and give you all the reasons why Hurts should win the MVP. He should be the number one candidate right now. First of all, the best record in the NFL, easily. If you look at the offense production, I will say they would, rank number two, maybe in the league maybe up they get to a one.”

Whether or not Jalen Hurts will win the MVP is still unknown but he will surely give Patrick Mahomes a run for his money and hopefully, the Eagles quarterback will continue to dominate in the playoffs as well.
