William Regal is a professional wrestling legend. He has not only had a successful in-ring career but he has also groomed many young talents and helped them become better superstars.

William Regal was the General Manager of NXT during his time in WWE. He was an integral part of the group that made important decisions for WWE’s developmental brand. Regal signed various superstars during his tenure in the Stamford-based company.

The former 4-time World Tag Team Champion was released in January 2022 and he shocked the pro-wrestling world by appearing on the AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

Talksport’s Alex McCarthy put out a tweet where he said that Regal told him he wanted to sign a few AEW Superstars like Daniel Garcia, Ricky Starks, and Wheeler Yuta being WWE changed their direction. McCarthy wrote:

“William Regal told me he was planning to sign Daniel Garcia, Ricky Starks and Wheeler Yuta to NXT before WWE “changed directive”.”

William Regal is set to premiere a new podcast

The legendary William Regal is currently managing Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and Wheeler Yuta in AEW. The group is known as Blackpool Combat Club.
