Teen mom 2’s Jenelle Evans has called her mom Barbara ‘Toxic’ reportedly in between a new feud between the two
Jenelle Evans who starred in Teen mom 2 has now stated her mother Barbara to be a ‘toxic’ parent. She accused her mother of being ‘toxic’ recently in July 2022. Her statement has again churned the long-lasting feud between the mother and daughter duo regarding the custody of Jenelle’s son Jace.
In a recent post on Instagram, Evans stated how her mother has neglected to recognize any of her accomplishments. In the video she captioned, “And I just keep my mouth shut 😞 I have been the happiest I‘ve ever been in my life. It sucks when none of your accomplishments are acknowledged.. especially by your own mom 💔 #ToxicParents“. The caption very well explained how her mother has never acknowledged any of her achievements. And also how her mother is a toxic parent.
Along with the caption, she also inserted various texts in the clip, which stated how her mother has backstabbed her. It included how she has spoken behind her back. The video depicts all these words popping up while Evans is sitting silently and sipping from her mug.

Jenelle and Barbara Evans has had a difficult relationship. Even before her public allegations, the duo had encountered several problems mainly regarding the custody of Jenelle’s son Jace. She shares the custody of Jace with her ex-Andrew Lewis. In January 2021, Barbara had claimed to TMZ that she had the full custody of Jace, to which Jenelle quickly denied that in a TikTok video.
Inspite of all the battles and feud between the mother and daughter, Jenelle has been vocal of her mother’s presence in their lives. Jenelle told the US Weekly that she would never want Barbara out of Jace’s life. She quoted, “I know in the past I’ve said that, but that was when I was young and mad. I see how important it is for Jace to have that relationship with my mom, no matter how much I dislike her.”
