The Los Angeles Clippers suffered their first defeat of the new NBA Season as they lost to the Phoenix Suns by 112-95. In a game where both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard played, this result was a letdown for the Clippers.

Their star players are getting minutes under their belts and will improve as we go further into the season, but such results against good teams will give them an idea of where they currently stand in terms of contention.

Paul George wasn’t happy with his team’s performances and claimed they need to be better going forward. Speaking about the loss to the Suns, Paul George said, “We weren’t good defensively. We didn’t help each other, it was just every man for himself. That’s not who we are.”

Devin Booker continued his impressive start to the season as he scored 35 points, and following the win, the Phoenix Suns are now 2-1, as they aim to get back to the top in the Western Conference.
