In an extremely funny interview with Kevin Durant last year David Letterman asked him why people call Kevin Durant KD. The question is a funny one since it’s quite obvious that the nickname KD refers to Durant’s initials. Durant seemed to be slightly caught off guard by the question and took a few seconds to think before answering. He told Letterman that K stands for his first name Kevin and D stands for his surname Durant so people call him KD.

The interview itself was quite a funny one with Letterman asking Durant a number of odd questions. But the questions didn’t seem to bother Durant all that much and he answered them with patience. After the interview was over Durant even cracked a joke and was seen smiling at what had just transpired. Before Letterman left, Durant even told him that he’d done a good job and had an amused look on his face.

When the short but funny interview with Letterman was complete, Durant continued and completed his press conference.
