Scotty Pippen Jr has impressed Lebron James with his performance in the NBA G league. Scotty Jr. is the son of legendary NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and television personality Larsa Pippen.

LeBron James has been public with his respect and love for Scottie Pippen. He has said that Scottie was a player with whom he could relate. Scotty Pippen Jr. went undrafted in 2022 and he had to sign a two-way contract. He has been quite stunning for the eight games he has played in the summer league.

Lebron James retweeted the post put up by Los Angeles Lakers’ official Twitter handle saying, “From draft workouts to Summer League, Scotty Pippen Jr. is hitting the ground running.” LeBron added, “The kid has a bright future!! 💜💛”

According to Paul Kasabian of Bleachers Report, Scotty Pippen Jr has averaged 11.3 points, 4.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals in the California Classic Summer League. Moreover, in the NBA 2K23 Summer League he averaged 11.8 points, 4.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 steals.

Scottie Pippen said, “What LeBron has been able to do throughout this has just been spectacular. His voice more so than his play, he’s been able to stand tall and utilize that stage of a springboard for social justice in a lot of ways so that’s been, you know, huge.”

“The fact that you’re talking about a man that’s 17 years in the league, I was reaching for the door at 17, I was walking out the door at 17,” added the Bulls legend.
