Watch: Lonzo Ball makes bid to return on the court for Chicago Bulls

published

Chicago Bulls have not been able to fight at full power in the 2022-23 season. With Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan giving their all, the iconic Eastern Conference giants have missed the services of Lonzo Ball dearly. Given that the latter was the team’s key scorer throughout the course of four quarters, his presence on the court is a must if the team wants to seal a berth in the playoffs.

However, Lonzo Ball has been sidelined due to for an entire year due to injury concerns in his knee. Now the 25-year-old guard seems to have started his preparation to return for the Chicago Bulls as a viral video of him working out on a treadmill has gone viral.

While it’s definitely good news to see him in the gym doing athlete things, the clip didn’t exactly evoke confidence out of Bulls fans who saw it. Lonzo could be seen struggling to run at pace when he increased the speed of his treadmill.

Will Lonzo Ball return for the Bulls in the 2022-23 season itself?

That being said that the eldest Ball brother can run and dunk proves that the 25-year-old is in a much better place physically than he was before the season began. However, there has been no update if Ball can return for the Bulls in the 2022-23 season itself.

The Bulls are 19-24 as we begin the second half of the 2022-23 season. They are currently 11th seed in the Eastern Conference and are five wins behind the 6th seed team (New York Knicks 24-19) to secure a playoff berth.
