LeBron James is one of the most recognized names in basketball across the planet, and one of the most influential names in the game in his own right.

The most recent example of his worldwide influence amongst fans and fellow professionals was seen when Jordan Clarkson showed off the LeBron 19 low Agimat shoes on national team duty.

The Filipino-American man who turns out for Utah Jazz was gearing up for national team duty with the Philippines national team in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers, but flexed his LeBron 19 low Agimat shoes on his Instagram story before he stepped out onto the court.

The reason behind Clarkson donning the Agimats are not simply to pay homage to his ex-teammate and the LA Lakers superstar, but that the Agimats were released in 2022 by LeBron to show love to Clarkson’s native island nation of the Philippines.

LeBron has visited the nation in the past and shares a bond with the people and he repaid them by launching the shoes.

The homage also flattered King James and reposted Clarkson’s story on his own Instagram account, summing up a good day for Clarkson as his team defeated Saudi Arabia.

What other shoes has LeBron put out in the past?

The Agimats are not the only shoes LeBron has put out, with the basketball superstar being a renowned fan of sneakers.
