James Harden has been sensational for the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2022-23 season. Not only has he efficiently led the team in Joel Embiid’s absence but has even been handy on the defensive. However, against the Denver Nuggets, the former MVP got too excited to help the defensive unit.
Being placed on the bench, James Harden saw Michael Porter Jr shooting the ball. So, he decided to check back into the game by simply rising up from his seat and entering the court. Rather than checking in when there has been a stoppage. Take a look at the video below-

How did James Harden perform against the Denver Nuggets?
While the entire limelight was stolen by Joel Embiid as he knocked game-high 47 points, James Harden, who is averaging 21.4 points per game in the 2022-23 season, dropped 17 points and 13 assists.
That being said, James Harden will need to play defense at a high level if the Philadelphia 76ers are to win a championship, and we’ll see if it improves in the playoffs this year.
