Harden and Scott developed a friendship while the now Philadelphia 76ers star played for the Houston Rockets – while Scott is one of the best musicians to ever come out of the city of Houston, Texas. Their friendship reached a peak when Harden gifted Scott with a late birthday gift – but it was barely like any other gift as it was a special customized Jeep.
It was when Scott was in attendance to watch Harden’s Rockets beat the Boston Celtics in May last year, and the rapper went home to a special gift from the baller. Fresh off the private jet, Scott showed off the new brown Jeep that Harden gifted him. The SUV is even decked out in the Houston rapper’s CACTI brand decals to really make the vehicle a customized one-of-one.
The “SICKO MODE” rapper thanked the NBA superstar in his Instagram story soon after as he wrote: “Woah got off the plane to this u different brother love u 4 life @JHarden13”. However, this was not Harden’s only lucrative interaction with rappers.
