Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid have a lot in common. The Milwaukee Bucks forward and the Philadelphia 76ers center are two of the most dominant men in the NBA at the moment, both have started the season on a very strong note and both are very feared opponents to go up against in the paint. However, according to Stephen A. Smith – the similarities stop right there.

The latest episode of NBA Countdown on ESPN featured an intense debate on who has had the better start to the season between Giannis and Embiid, and it was not long before Stephen A. Smith gave his two cents on the debate. When asked about his take on the debate, Smith swiftly said that even though he chooses Giannis, he does not wish to answer the question.

Smith further said that the Greek Freak not only has an upper hand over the big center due to his head to head record, but also edges the comparison because of his career accolades. While Giannis Antetokounmpo is an NBA champion and a two-time Most Valuable Player, Joel Embiid is yet to win a major honour in his career – as pointed out by the reputed NBA analyst.
