“Spreading misinformation to be relevant”: Serge Ibaka claps at Kendrick Perkins to blatantly lying

During 2010s, the duo ship of Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins seemed to be ideal ‘big-men’ core every franchise needed. Known to be aggressive players inside the paint, it seems like both these personnel spoken off, have taken their battle well outside the NBA court.

It all started with Kendrick Perkins reigniting the accusation of Serge Ibaka lying about his age on the most recent episode of ESPN’s First Take. Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time that Ibaka was accused of such things. Even during his free agency in 2017, many speculations regarding his physical attributes and age came up.

However, let’s take a look at what Kendrick Perkins stated, Everybody kept talking about how Kevin Durant is only 23, Westbrook is only 22, Harden is 22, Serge Ibaka is 21, although he was probably 30 at the time because we know how certain individuals lie about their age.”

The current Milwaukee Bucks star isn’t usually that active on social media as compared to other NBA stars but these antics by his former teammate, forced him to call Kendrick Perkins calls out in the open, making claims about how he is lying just to stay relevant in the media.

“Hey @KendrickPerkins, I count my blessings every day and I don’t usually react to comments about me,” Ibaka wrote in his latest tweet. “But It’s disappointing to hear someone I shared a locker room with spreading misinformation to be relevant and get views on TV and social media.”
