After the ESPN interview, some fans thought LeBron James might pull a Piers Morgan-Cristiano Ronaldo

After it was declared that LeBron James will be appearing for an interview with an ESPN’s reporter, some fans were fearing that the interview might be going to be the same as the Cristiano Ronaldo-Piers Morgan interview. In that interview with Ronaldo, he discussed all about his career, life, and retirement. Ronaldo broke his silence during the interview regarding his difficulties at Manchester United, and as a result, the club decided to end his contract.

The fan on Twitter posted a still from that Ronaldo-Piers interview replying to the announcement made by ESPN PR about the LeBron James interview. The fan might be fearing that the same could happen with James.

LeBron James ESPN Interview: What actually did happen?

On January 6, at 10:30 p.m., the interview aired on the ESPN2 channel. James only has two years left on his current deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN, and he’s on the verge of breaking Kareem Abdul-record. James needs just 500 more points to overcome Abdul-Jabaar.

James stated that while he would like to be able to continue competing at a championship level, he would also like to see his son Bronny play basketball since he aspires to play in the NBA.

Since then, James has only continued to accumulate achievements and points. In his last 12 games, he has averaged 33.7 points on 57.8% shooting, including 25 points on 10-of-19 shooting in Friday night’s 130-114 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. He is on a tear as he closes in on Abdul Jabbar’s-record. And it is not bad for someone who has claimed for a long time that he is not a scorer.
