William Kate courtside scene: The Royals at the Celtics vs Heat game

During the royals’ first overseas tour since Queen Elizabeth II’s passing in September and their first visit to the United States in eight years, Prince William and Princess Kate of Wales went to a Boston Celtics home game against the Miami Heat.

Just before the game started on Wednesday night, Prince William and Kate Middleton, aged 40, entered TD Garden in Boston while being surrounded by security. While William and Kate checked in for the game, Celtic players were spotted passing by them, and head coach Joe Mazzulla would sometimes pace in front of the couple.

The Heroes Among Us award was given to 15-year-old Easthampton, Massachusetts, climate activist Ollie Perraul during the game. Following the prize presentation, Perraul was spotted conversing with the royals. The pair also visited with Celtics family members, including officials of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, which offers strategic funding and grassroots programming to regional groups supporting populations in need or at danger.

As Princess Kate walked with her husband William to their courtside seats, Middleton, who was wearing a royal blue jacket, stood out in a sea of green. Under a navy blue blazer, William matched Middleton’s colour scheme with a vivid blue button-down shirt in this William Kate courtside scene

What was in the Game? William Kate courtside

Princess Kate had a really intense game face. The Celtics defeated the Heat by 133-119 to bring it to a close. It appears that some luck may have played a role in their regal appearance.

When William and Kate appeared on the jumbotron, there were differing reactions from the audience. Some cheered and applauded, while others appeared to boo the royal couple. But the two seemed to be having fun, as William was seen applauding and encouraging the players all through the match sitting in the courtside.
