The Los Angeles Lakers are still unsure about the availability of LeBron James as he tries to return from his injury setback ahead of their clash against the San Antonio Spurs.
It would be fair to say that the Los Angeles Lakers season has not had the best of starts. While they started their season on a disastrous 0-5 start, two consecutive wins certainly helped in a moral turnaround – however, five more losses and two wins followed to keep the jittery Lakers on a 4-10 streak this season. Unfortunately, their misfortune does not seem to go away soon.
The Lakers’ talisman LeBron James has had a season riddled with injuries. The four-time champion and four-time Most Valuable Player of the season has not had the best of seasons, partly because of his disastrous shooting form and his injuries. In the 20th season of his career, James seems to be finally feeling the effects of his body catching up with him.
The NBA legend has missed the last three games for the Lakers with a strain in his left abductor muscle, and – James is a doubt for the Lakers’ next clash against the San Antonio Spurs as well. The latest status report issued by the Lakers ahead of their next outing has listed James as questionable because of the strain. However, James is not the only one missing out.
Who else has been named on the Lakers’ latest status report?
Other than James, another high-profile superstar finds himself on the Lakers’ latest status report ahead of their next encounter.
Anthony Davis has also been named on the status report as probable due to low back tightness, while Juan Toscano-Anderson joins James as questionable courtesy of mid-back soreness. Max Christie is the last name on the status report, and will miss out because of health and safety protocol.
However, it has to be noted that the Lakers have indeed won their last two games without James’ services, and will hope to make it three out of three against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night.
