LeBron James has been a prominent figure in NBA world. He also has many followers on his social media – rather tops the list in NBA for “number of followers”. LeBron recently had changed his status which was directed towards NBA’s efforts to fight against the Covid-19 situation.

His status update quickly was targeted by his haters and criticized him for his lenient approach toward the issue. His fans took the post in a lighter manner understanding the situation in NBA and the Lakers’ franchise.

Some fans had already warned James about possible hit-back on the post and they were proven correct by NBA All-time leading scorer, and NBA Legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He had posted an essay through his substack. Check the actual essay here.

The main essence of the essay was Kareem’s view on LeBron’s post. Kareem thinks that the post supports unvaccinated people and will encourage them. This will result in many people staying unvaccinated and will hamper the fight against Covid-19 Pandemic.

Kareem also labeled the post as a “blow to LeBron’s worthy legacy”. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one such celebrity, who is advocating the NBA’s efforts against the Covid-19 outbreak and asking players to get vaccinated earliest.

LeBron James refused to give any reply over the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar post. He said, “No, I don’t have a response to Kareem at all.” LeBron rather decided to explain his post to the questioner.

He said “And if you saw the post and you read the tag, you’re literally, honestly asking, ‘Help me out?’ Help me kind of figure it all out. We’re all trying to figure this pandemic out. We’re all trying to figure out Covid and the new strains and the flu. I think people forgot about the flu. People literally forgot about the flu during these times. Like, that’s still going around.”

“This is flu season. So people have forgotten about the flu. People have forgotten about common colds. My daughter is in first grade so a lot of these kids are getting common colds and getting the flu.”

“But, no. I don’t have any response to Kareem.”

Both players are sticking to their words and have their views over the situation. We already have evaluated the LeBron James post in our earlier article. Despite their views, both players certainly hope for the betterment of the World.
