Legendary LA Lakers player Kobe Bryant was skilled at intimidating opponents. He always had the advantage because of his dedication to the game and competitive nature. Stephen A. Smith, a well-known sports expert, recently recalled a memorable experience he had with Kobe Bryant after criticizing him.

Stephen A. Smith addressed a moment when he became afraid of Bryant during a guest appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.” He stated, “Kobe scared the living s**t out of me. ‘Cause here’s why. Kobe was a savant, you did not know more basketball than Kobe Bryant. So, when Kobe Bryant called you… I can quote him for you right now.”

Smith continued by narrating a story about a voicemail that Bryant left for him during his playing days as a five-time NBA champion. Several f-bombs were used in the message, along with the warning that “your a— better not go on the air and utter some more s—- before you talk to me.”

Even before he decided to retire after the 2015–16 NBA season, Bryant’s skill set and determination were legendary. Nick Sirianni, the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, revealed how he utilized a pre-game speech from the Netflix “Redeem Team” documentary that had a film of Kobe Bryant going “through” buddy and Lakers colleague Pau Gasol.

On January 26, it will be three years after the untimely death of Bryant. In the days preceding that tragic event, fans may anticipate hearing and reading tales about the all-time great comparable to the stories of Smith.
