Jaylen Brown and his Boston Celtics have come out in the 2022-23 NBA Season with a bold mission to seek nothing else but redemption after their loss in the previous NBA Finals. Being on a four-game winning streak before locking horns against Shai Gilgeous Alexander-less Oklahoma City Thunder, the favorites were handed a brutal reality check.
Not only did the home team drop 150 points on one of the best teams in the 2022-23 season but it even frustrated their core to their very guts. The same was witnessed when Jaylen Brown addressed the media after receiving a thumping, perhaps after being overconfident on many fronts.
“We got out a** kicked,” said Jaylen Brown in the post-game interview. “That’s what happened.” You come out; you take it for granted. That’s what happens. We probably had it coming to us. Came out the last couple of games, we pick in choose when we want to play. We weren’t connecting, didn’t have each other’s back out there.”

Although Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum managed to drop 29 and 27 points respectively but it was quite clear that the Cs find it difficult to counterattack when their marquee scorers fail to drop a massive 40-point game.
Brown added, “Those young boys over there came out and made us look bad. They embarrassed us. Kicked our a**. That’s what happened.”
