James Harden’s tenure with the Philadelphia 76ers hasn’t exactly gotten off to the best of commencing. He struggled to make a contribution to the team last season, finished the season under fire, and received harsh criticism for his performances.

However, Harden and the Sixers are having a better season than last. Even though they have been without a few crucial players at various stages during the season, the club is still competitive and ready to face anyone. Although Harden isn’t the go-to player there, he can still produce strong statistics.

The New Version of James Harden

Harden discussed his hopes for this squad with ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne after the Sixers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 120-110. Harden is aware that he has played on successful teams in the past, but he also thinks that this group offers him the best chance to capture the coveted NBA title.

Since pairing Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, there have been high expectations for the Sixers. Last year, Simmons was exchanged for Harden in a deal that is still talked about in the NBA. They brought in Harden to assist Joel Embiid in reaching the goal now that the Australian is gone, but their first few games together didn’t go as planned.

The Sixers will be thrilled to have him as one of the league’s top shooting guards if they hope to contend for the championship this year. After a challenging first season there, he is ready to advance all the way to the Finals, and James Harden feels quite optimistic about his prospects of taking home the NBA title.
